<description><![CDATA[By default, FeedDemon doesn't mark a news item as read until you view it for a few seconds. If having unread items reminds you too much of your overflowing email inbox, configure FeedDemon to automatically mark items as read. Here's how to do this:<ul><li>Select Tools > Options</li><li>Click on the "Reading" tab</li><li>Enable "Mark all news items as read when exiting a channel"</li><li>Enable "Mark all channels as read when exiting a channel group"</li></ul>Once this is done, you'll never have to explicitly mark anything as read - FeedDemon will do it for you.]]></description>
